You can say that about almost all high school qb's. There is other videos of Lindsey going to second and third options.

Nothing wrong with throwing to the first receiver if he's open.

I just hope the rumors are true about Cam and Les moving to more shotgun/spread concepts.

Harris, Scott, and Narcisse (fingers crossed) will flourish.

Can't open links at work. What kind of pocket awareness/running ability does Mr. Scott have?

Louisiana is loaded with talent this year. Scott was chosen as the Louisiana POY. That says it all. I hear no one saying he should not have won the award.

I don't know if he'd win a Heisman if he went to Oregon but I know this, the kid can flat out play.

yeah its possible i got a little carried away on that one. there were a few examples of him running the read option, and hes smart, i guess i was seeing Mariota 2.

I'm a huge fan of Scott as well.

With that said the spread offense ran by Zachary doesn't translate whatsoever to our pro-style attack. It's up to our coaches to develop his full potential and unless they decide to run a more spread oriented/ read-option style offense, I don't see the development there with CC and LM.

I think he's great, yet he's not even ranked in the top 1000.

this is baffling to me, and all I can come up with is the fact that, in large part, how the players are rated is based on how they perform at the camps and in the drills. and when you watch someone like Shea Patterson, the vast majority of his highlights are very quarterback-y.
The two major factors holding down Scott's rating are his measurables and his lack of major school offers.

The folks at 247, Rivals, and ESPN are not particularly skilled at evaluating talent. Rather, they focus on two things: (1) size, speed, and other objective measurements, and (2) evaluations by college coaches in the form of offers.

Even while scrambling, the kid keeps his eyes downfield. We have a playmaker is what we have. Some people are just football players. Intangables thrown out of the window. This kid can just flat out play.

He plays out of the shotgun, not under center and his height.

agree with the major offer part, but im not sure his size is as much of a factor as people say.

the number 1 DT QB for last year, Kyler Murray, and next year, Tate Martell, are both fives. Murray is listed at 5'10" and 180 pounds. Martell is at 5'11" and 180. Scott is usually listed as 5'11" and 205 but hudl actually has him at 6'0" (with a 520 pound squat, btw).

if they would overlook the size with them i think they would with Scott too.

or hell, maybe it is a huge factor, what do i know, im just some jackass on a message board.

I want to think this is sarcasm and give you an up-vote, but it's so hard to tell...

No point arguing with a gump. They only understand gump.

Beyond the nice throws, eyes downfield, good pocket awareness....its fun as hell to watch him break the ankles of those linebackers and d-ends.

His highlights are phenomenal
