My friend..no offense...Patterson>Franks. He is a "Manning" type QB. Total understanding of the game that is natural to him.

he may be better than felipe, but we dont know that. is he more developed? probably. is he the nexy manning? cmon man, you dont know that. ill take em both, but we have franks already. if patterson signs too, then let the competition begin, would be the best scenario.

Jennings never improved from the Iowa bowl game to the loss to Notre Dame.

Outback Bowl: 8/19 82 yds. 0 TD 1 INT.

Music City Bowl: 7/14 151 yds. 1 TD 0 INT

Looks like he played twice as good.

Hate to say it because that is hard for even the worse [sic] coach to pull off.

You don't hate to say it because you want everyone to give you attention for whining about not having an NFL starter at QB every year.

His deep ball lacks velocity and has a flutter. He needs to get a bit stronger. Other than that he looks good.

I've seen way worse.

Excellent Point - remember the only consistent in a decade is MILES. We have run through several OCs and all of them cannot suck.

This has little to do with the OCs as far as scheme or play calling. The problem has been not having a dedicated QB coach. Jimbo was one, and we fared very well. A Jimbo taught QB lead LSU to a national championship in 2007. After that, Miles killed the development of our QBs by not getting another QB coach.

Crowton was never good at developing QBs and that was shown after he completely ruined Danny O Brien who was the top freshman QB the year before Crowton got to Maryland. He went and got Kragthorpe, yet he was too ill to do his job. Then he basically split the OC duties with himself, Krags, and Stud (our OL coach). Cam is only the second QB coach Miles has had in his 10 year tenure.

Now this is just ridiculous. Every year there are QBs who don't develop throughout the year even with decent QB coaches. Some guys look bad for years until the light comes on. Look at Rob Bolden for example, guy is just not good and he was rated as the #3 dual threat in the country coming out.

Don't say Cam is bad because one QB just doesn't get it and the other is very raw with a huge ego and mediocre work ethic. Harris just needs to step it up.

sometimes, the best Qb coach in the world is not enough to get the improvement you need.

With Shea, this kid has super football/QB IQ and work ethic. Sure, He'll need coaching at the next level, and the difference is that the coaching will stick. He's our boy.

Lee and Jefferson had some tendencies that could have been coached out of them at an early stage. Would have been much better for LSU had that happen. Miles took a pro style QB in Jefferson, and turned him into a running QB and very inconsistent passer. These guys needed to be developed right and didn't get the help they needed.

Wait, I thought Brandon Harris closed the door! you mean to tell me he left if open?

All that shite sounds good but Shea better learn how to play in a prostyle offense before he gets here or he will be another Brandon Harris

I just can't grasp at how fricking stupid some of you are. Brandon Harris was a true freshman last season. Please, go bury your head into a meat processor somewhere and let the adults speak.
