I agree completely. Not knocking these kids at all. They've had to deal with quite a lot over the past year but I've got to think with all that pressure and constant phone calls and everyone telling you to stay in state or else, you might just want to get away. I think there is a good reason why the recruiting bash changed its policy this year to a smaller location. People can cite other reasons but I think this class will be extremely disappointing because of such high expectations. It will still have some very, very good players but by no means will it be even close to all of the hype for the past year about getting multiple 5 star players. This will be coupled with the fact that we will lose quite a few targets to Bama.

And I thought last signing day was bad on here with rantards. This year is ridiculous.

Right which one you posted this in the comments section of the NOLA.com 'He Gone' article...
quote:

Saw your little Twitter war with Taylor Hamm, the preeminent A&M HOMER recruiting predictor. Ask Taylor why he missed ALL of these predictions...just the misses related to A&M BTW. He PREDICTED Otaro Alaka, Chris Weatherd, Josh Frazier, Sam Sizelove, Mark Andrews, Connor Mayes, Carter Wall, and Zach Whitley all to commit to A&M. All these listed predictions were WRONG as they committed elsewhere.

Taylor Hamm = ultimate Aggie JOKE!

This is one of the most insightful comments I have ever had the pleasure of reading

These kidds are so full of themselves. They just want the attention. If they dont to come to LSU then dont come. We will be just fine. Everybody needs to chill out and if we dont get all 5, screw um.

Reread my post and probably should have worded it a little better, not trying to be a huge negatiger. Just meant that we are going to have a great class and don't think people should worry about all of the recruits that we might miss on (again, especially if they do go to a hated rival). It's just that all we've read for the past year is all of these top players that we'll get and it's going to be hard for us, for any school, to get everyone. Recruiting bash comment may be off the mark, yes. Sorry-

But I do stand by my comment about not blaming the kids. They are 17-18 and have been mauled by coaches, friends, recruiting "experts" (whatever that is), neighbors, etc. for YEARS. That has to be enough to drive anyone a little crazy and can you blame them for changing their minds 10 times or whatever...

It's all good!
