Hammond is a shithole. Most of those girls around Chevy's come from Ponchatoula, Covington, Mandeville, Slidell. Hammond is fortunate to have a college campus there.

Its like someone lumped all the rejects on the Northshore area in Independence and Hammond. I went to the local Wal-Mart and someone robbed my car...

Next time I'll wonder off in the third world and see how I can handle that area.

deuce985, this is a thread on Gavin Webster, not your opinion on Hammond, La. Lake Charles, Grambling, Monroe, Ruston, North Baton Rouge, and yes Hammond are all fortunate to have a campus. I would guess that the Wal-Mart in Hammond is safer than some Wal-Marts in Baton Rouge. Gavin didn't receive alot of interest from LSU. Goodluck to Gavin and SLU.

I agree. He is the type of QB that would fit into the offense.

He picked SLU over Southern MS and other offers because they will let him play baseball too. Coach Lucas has a son on the baseball team and is a big baseball supporter. Gavin was MR. Football in LA, is a tremendous athlete and I think will likely be the starting QB by his second year. He won't dominate like in High School, but can run and throw and is VERY GOOD.

Any news on how Gavin Webster has looked? I can't remember if he graduated early or not. I think fall practice starts soon for SLU.
