There was a guy from LA who signed with Notre Dame way back when... must've been under DiNardo or Hallman. I don't even remember if LSU was ever on his list. I just remember when LSU played Notre Dame, he stomped a mud pit into the Tigers.

Why would anyone even mention Trent Richardson? The question wasn't "name a great recruit that didn't sign with LSU".

When has Richardson ever 'destroyed LSU'? And his absence from our backfield hasn't hampered our running game. I don't get it. He's a great player, no doubt. But LSU hasn't been "destroyed" by him signing elsewhere.

I agree. One recruit does not a team make. I was so worried when we lost Janzen Jackson . Well we see how that turned out. Also upset when McKnight went to USC. Never an outstanding back out there anyway. At least not like Charles Davis, or Marcus Allen. The only player that i have ever seen in college totally turn a team around and we didnt recruit him was Cam Newton. Im not worried about the loss of LC. Want matter. Remember when we were all worried about losing Robbie Green. Again, Cam newton is the only player that single handedly turned a team around. Let Collings go to Bama. We will be alright.
