Daylong

All day long?

Charlot had a wide open TD catch on busted coverage, but I'm pretty sure it was him that also dropped a quick slant pass, and also got a couple passes broken up by Thibodaux's Bryant. I think Charlot will be good on the next level, but Jones looks much more comfortable catching passes over the middle knowing he's going to take a hit and he's faster.

What you talking bout kickoffs for? There were no kick returns in any of the 5 games. You didn't notice that none of the players ran down the field? They just lined up and let the kicker kick the ball for practice.

Damn phone! It was supposed to be Daylon. He is an impressive kid. I didn't say he dominated or was the best ever. More athletes in that game than the other games.
As for your question : yes I know it was a lhsaa officials clinic. I took pics of all but the first game (worked late).
The intent was to let those who don't know the kid can kick as well. Hope this post was more satisfying for you.

He told me he wants to change his phone number right now bc they call him so much. He finds that very annoying.

And yet our staff catches crap sometimes for not calling enough. I think that just illustrates that recruiting will never be simple.

Nope no relation. I coach the kid and played with Kenny. Thy are not related.
You might want to tell this to Ivory, who told me to my face that Daylon is his cousin.

It sure seems that his mind is made up to go to Bama and I hate to see our coaches waste any energy and time on a guy who wants to honor his commitment to another school. Good luck to him and move forward.

He may use "cousin" loosely.

I hear ya, you wouldn't believe how many "cousins" Glen Dorsey has in Gonzales, lol...
Ivory is a very serious minded guy, though, I don't think he throws anything around loosely.

Putt has at least a hundred cousins around here. Dorsey's, bassetts, darvilles, huge families.

That's true, Ed, I know many of them, but when you run into a 50 year old white guy at the gas station telling people the same thing, it makes you scratch your head, lol...

All three of my sons, starting in 2002, to my youngest, who's a Sr this year have had a Darville on the team.
Coon Dog is a great guy, no doubt where Putt got his work ethic from. Dude would work 7/16's a lot when I worked at the same plant as him.
