Heard Florida analysts yesterday say he was a redshirt player if they can get a older transfer in like KY QB. They fully expect Grier back in starting position once ban lifted. Wonder if Frank's is expecting to redshirt there.

I don't know what the LSU coaches told him, but he probably would have redshirted here too.
He has a huge ceiling, but he is still very raw.

Franks is going there with every intention of starting from day 1
This was 100% obvious when he was waiting out the Grier case

The Gator beat writer was on Finebaum yesterday & said, as noted, that Franks is very raw & needs to be red shirted. Also said as noted, that Grier has not left the Gators & is hoping to get some of his time off reduced. Said that the main problem re him transferring was that after he served his NCAA suspension, he would still have the normal year off for transfers as well. He would be off for a year & a half, basically. Beyond their present QB, they apparently have no one.

Oh he will get to play against us. The SEC will make sure we get to play Florida every year and most others get to see them once every 8 years.
