This young man is going to be an amazing tiger. Always striving to improve. Anyone have info on his teammate that he's recruiting?

excuse my ignorance but does the kids have to pay their own way to these events? that flight from florida to oregon and back must be expensive

I saw the article, were there rumors flying about him decommitting?

Kid is solid in his commitment

Not really. A few florida fans were chirping that their new staff was going to make a push for him. He never gave any indication he was listening.

No, just a bunch of wishful thinkers in the Gator fanbase when it comes to Franks

I don't think he would be recruiting his teammates if that were true. He and savion have earned my respect with their commitment to the program early and often.

Not trying to throw shade at Patterson. But I'm glad to see Franks ahead of him

Works for me. Damn I'm ready for good QB play in DV. Hopefully Harris can jumpstart those hopes this year, but I'm going to Academy the day Franks jersey hits the rack.

When he committed, there was a lot of talk about how Franks was a raw talent and needed to become a more polished passer. Really good to hear he's cleaning that up before he even hits campus.

His film from his sophomore year to his junior year showed dramatic improvement. He'll look even better as a senior. Sky is the limit for this kid.

2. Franks was impressiveLINK

2. Franks was impressive. Though he threw a few too-high passes, Franks was one of the more impressive passers during Tuesday’s workout. His throws all had zip and he did a good job of clicking off his reads before finding the most open receiver. “It’s great to be able to compete with the best quarterbacks,” Franks said. “Iron sharpens iron. They’re getting better and I’m getting better at the same time.” He’s considered the No. 5 quarterback overall and the No. 1 dual-threat quarterback according to 247Sports.com’s composite rankings, but Franks also has the size at 6-5 and 220, to be a prototypical pro quarterback. That is provided he sticks with football as he’s also considering playing baseball at LSU.
