I keep seeing posts about "my so and so UF friend who is a high level donor (bagman?) says Franks is flipping." Lots of smoke. While the tenor of the posts aren't saying he has already flipped, it looks like it's close to happening.

True but, he could just as easily signed a NLI with no grant in aid from baseball and been done with it and then accept the grant in aid for football.

from a 6'5" frame 88 mph looks a bit different. It's traveling 88 in less distance than most. From watching his throwing motion in qb reels, he probably leaves something to be desired from his lower body. He has good arm action, and wrist action. He can spin it. His qb motion looks like a pitcher, which is not great for a qb. Franks is a talented guy with excellent raw skills. He has some mechanics to work out, but he will be solid.

Maybe if Cam is still on staff. That aspect worries me.

Would you want to commit early when everyone is saying miles might be gone soon.

Any recruit who early signs right now is an idiot until this whole coaching mess works itself out.

he has been committed for so long and has a good relationship with the coaches dont see him changing his character and becoming a liar now.

I sure hope so. BDP is a family friend and he's liking going to be on the chopping block, and there's speculation that Cam could be the scapegoat. Those are his primary recruiters and if they are gone I do not like our chances.

Any coaching changes of real significance - head coach or coordinator - will undoubtedly have *some* impact. This could prove negative but is not necessarily so, those replacing them would be a huge factor. All the negativity currently circulating is nothing to be discounted either, it will have some negative consequences.
