You seem like a sharp guy, and I'll preface this by saying that he is a 100% lsu lock, but let me play devils advocate for a second. If a talented kid goes to every lsu camp since his 7th grade year, but isn't quite talented enough to earn as scholly over a guy that's camped once, does lsu owe the scholarship to the kid that has come every time? No, they don't.

Fournette certainly has to appreciate the fact that lsu and it's coaching staff has tried making his decision easier by clearing the path for him to be a day one starter, but in the end Leonard Fournette is the one being recruited, and he doesn't owe anybody anything. It's Leonard's job to make the decision for himself on where he wants to spend the next 3-4 years of his life. He doesn't have to explain himself to anyone. If it takes him until February to decide then so be it, I just hate seeing the ideology that these kids owe a program something because they recruited them. It's all about the kids decision.

Yeldon, Drake, Tenpenny, and Scarborough are studs. Would definitely cause a PT issue.

I have seen Fournette a couple of times this year. I must way he looks great in purple and gold and we would really be happy if he came to LSU. A Louisiana athlete that commits to LSU can right his check for the future and know that Louisiana will always be there for him. When folks turn their backs on their home state, they usually end up regretting that decision.

Agreed, but I'm saying that IF He knew he weren't coming here that He wouldn't keep it a secret from our staff. Not saying that he would go public. Out of respect, he would let Coach Frank know. JMO. The kid seems to have great character and speaks on loyalty a good deal.

LF going to be a great Tiger. Hottie well only Hottie knows, the rest of us gotta wait till nov annoucement day. I quit worrying about committs back when LC was trolling us. Yeah it would be great to get all those big names on the board. but i got no say in it at all. Kids gotta pick wha't best for them. I know right now Bama is the hot ticket but growing up in La lot of these guys have been tiger fans their entire life. and most of their friend are tiger fans as well. Sun will be up tomorrow either way.

I agree, but it's possible he won't even decide until the last second. I just hope he doesn't get threatened and pissed on for "leading the staff on", when for all any of us know he could have decided last second. That is of course if he picks Bama. I doubt that happens, he wouldn't play much as a Freshman, sadly. LSU is probably gonna be his home for three years.

Man if u read the ALA recruiting board they have some serious delusions over there. Some of the swearing up and down the LF is trending toward AL... It's kinda funny actually

ETA: To the the Gumps reading my post: if u had reading comprehension skills I never said you were predicting LF to go to Al.

Yes he would. He's a talented enough runner to play anywhere as a freshman.
