We have his last official visit. Bk won’t let him get away if he makes it to BR.

LSU its funny you think LSU is some all inclusive university bubbling with diversity. Outside of the sports teams, most of those kids at LSU come from money and a lot of the athletes do too.

I don’t pay attention to recruiting services stars.

Wayyyy to many two and three stars that arrive at LSU and end up going in the first and second round of the NFL draft to pay attention to how many stars rivals.com gives a high school player.

We're not getting Harbor. He's a very academically motivated kid so it's obvious why he's leaning towards Michigan

A communications degree is a communications degree…he’s not going to be finance or engineering f major

I read his visit is scheduled for the same weekend as the SEC championship game. Harbor to LSU just might not be meant to be.

That damn Tennessee game, man.

If we somehow seal the deal with Toviano and Ricks, we should all consider this to be a huge win regardless who ends up with the #1 class. 9 months ago no one imagined Brian Kelly would have this team on the verge of a SEC Championship game appearance and a top 3 class overall.

Very true, the big differences are in graduate or research programs, not in generic undergraduate class that all teach pretty much the same. Its up to the student to make the most of his classes

This is not true in any way shape or form. There are huge differences here in quality of education. I went to LSU for two degrees and then got my later degrees and training at other places and work with undergraduate education.

There are often steep differences in quality and available resources based on programs. This isn’t a knock on every program at LSU, but most are below quality of these other institutions.

How many resources do you need to lecture an undergraduate course? Its all about the professors’s and student’s effort and how much is expected of each

You need to look and see who is attending LSU these days because of William Tate's new academic admission standards. His goal is to merge LSU and Southern.

For what it’s worth, for the fall 2022 entering class, “LSU has brought in its most accomplished freshman class in university history, with an all-time high median GPA at 3.78, and an ACT composite of 25.5.”

Yeah, Harbor wants to be a physician so going to LSU for Pre-Med shouldn’t be an issue.

Exactly, the number one sports orthopedic surgeon in the country went to LSU undergrad. Academics shouldn’t be an issue for us.

LSU is test optional.

You can have a 4.5 GPA from a crap public school, not take a standardized test, and get in LSU.
That makes the stats look good and allows your lower standard students admission.

Andrews and Dr Shane Barton are collaborating with Oschner and LSU Med Center in Shreveport with what will be the premier training center for orthopedics in the country. Will be named after Andrews. Any athlete that wants to enter that field after his playing days are over will be lined up to get trained there. No other place in the country will compare. It will certainly be a strong drawing card for that type of student/athlete.
