His throwing motion reminds me of Mett's.

How good a baseball player is this guy? Any chance he goes pro?

No, he didn't play baseball last season because he's focused on Football.

I can't wait to see the Rant's reaction to this guy. :

Guy has the tools. Hopefully Cam keeps working magic.

Looks like the rare dual-threat pro-style quarterback.

Yeah. I couldn't help but note that he could be the son of JJ and JL.

Looking at his highlights, I like that the emphasis is on him throwing!!

As far as I'm concerned, dual threat > single threat but ONLY if the PRIMARY element in the "dual" threat is the PASS.

Same way I feel. That's kind of the way Brandon Harris is sold: a guy who can stand in the pocket, make reads and sling the ball, but can also escape pressure. It just gives you more options (did somebody say "option"?)

That's what i like as well... Coach Cam is looking for athletic guys who are pass first guys and if the play breaks down/pressure gets to them they can gain yards with their feet. LSU has a bright future ahead of them with these young QBs and the play calling and development Cameron brings to the staff.

Seems to have great touch on his passes but does it seem like he puts way to much air under the ball to anyone else? I know Cam will work with him if that is an issue but just seems like this gives the db's at the college level time to adjust and get help over on balls thrown with that much air.

Potential is huge with this kid. That's the only thing I saw that looked concerning....and yes I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night!

I hate making this comparison but it's too close to not, Cam Newton without the laptop adhesive hands (hopefully)

Wow, that is not at all what I saw in the video. Hope you're right though.

If you gave Mett mobility, holy shite. But he was like Dan Marino with his feet for the most part.

Mett was nothing like Marino when it came to footwork. Marino had as great a pocket presence as any passer in NFL history. He was also pretty good at throwing on the run on designed roll outs.
