False alarm: Sci Martin delays expected commitment

Was "offered" by LSU last month and decommitted from Tulane. Crystal ball picks today are to TCU though, looks like that's where he is headed. I don't know what the point of these "offers" are, unless he is truly picking TCU over LSU. Not sure.

Best of Luck to him. I just think LSU has their eyes on bigger fish in this pond. Already have some massive upside DE's in this class in Anthony and Roddy. Thorton, Fowler and Logan could all also play DE if needed. All total beasts

Something like that, they werent going to wait around. I think this was before the Shavar Manuel saga too which means Martin definitely got thrown to the curb.

Sure he can, but he's already committed, decommitted, scheduled another commitment and then pushed that back. It's a bit much. If you're not ready to make a decision then don't. No need for all the other shite.

At the time of his offer, the staff said they'd need to know soon. Then over the next week or so, LSU got a flurry of LB/DE commitments. I may be wrong, but that may have all but closed his window.
I think of him more as an OLB prospect than a DE. And we're still pressing for Divinity, Joyner, McCullough, among others. Even at DE, there's Manuel and Burns high on the target list.

Don't think he's off the radar yet. With moore having grade issues, anthony having eligibility issues, and chattman srruggling there may be a spot for a olb/de
