Guice has got to have the best stop and go acceleration I have ever seen. I think it was the Ole Miss game when he made that long run for a touchdown and he had to stop and juke s guy and the safety was running full speed and had the angle on him and Guice stopped at the 20 and beat that safety to the end zone

What?? Lol you have to be kidding with that statement. Travis himself would laugh comparing him to LF. First of all the competition isn't close and the ok teams Travis did play like Eunice he didn't take over the game. He got his yards around 100 or so but he didn't take the game over like LF did in HS against much stiffer competition then Eunice lol. He's a good back that could turn into a great back but he's got quite a bit of work to do. I wouldn't say he's as good as Nick B coming out of HS maybe close but not quite. He's good but not LF or even close to Guice. Come on brah

You can like or dislike my statements but they are true, I'm from that area so I know and have seen this guy play and he's good, most LSU fans would love to have him but he couldn't come in this year and start no freakn way. He needs a year to adjust, I mean I guess if he had to he could but he won't if he comes in. He will RS get bigger, faster ect. We need to load up next year which I think we will do. I hope we get him but he's no LF.

UHigh really plays those powerhouses

Etienne is a better back than Nick.

Would rather clyde edwards helaire if it came down between the two. I believe clyde has more upside and would be a great rb in Canadas offense. He has a very low center of gravity and reminds me of barry sanders in his running style. He also is very good at catching the ball out of the backfield. That along with derrius guice stating that clyde would be a better rb than him in college has me stoked to see this kid in p&g. Getting both would be ideal but i would choose clyde if we had to. Geaux tigers.

We probably need to sign both TEJ and CEH. Next year's class is pretty thin for RBs, other than Franklin who could be a grades risk. At any time, you need 3 healthy backs per game. Name the last time we had ALL our top 3 backs healthy?

We might need both CEH and TEJ more than some are willing to accept.

i agree with you...what a lot of people forget is LF played his senior season at 18/19 years old nd travis played at 17...he has a huge upside and his vision nd speed is second none...plus he doesn't go down like ever by one man

I agree with you on that. The deal is that if they both want to compete for playing time against the other. If they both believe they should be the main focus at rb for a team like lsu and are afraid of come in amd compete with the caliber of rbs lsu attracts then that is a problem. Which is why I said I would rather clyde if it comes down to that. Put it this way, if lsu had signed cam akers i highly doubt that either one of clyde of travis come to lsu. It's just how recruiting works t bigtime schools like lsu...especially runningback.

I liken him to Guice more so than Fournettes

Guice's highlights convinced me he would be as good or possibly better than LF! I don't see anything that makes me believe Etienne will be anywhere close to either DG or LF!

Wasn't that the Missouri game, I believe the first touchdown, and then the guy dives for him right at the goal and Guise leaps into the air and right into the end zone.
