Just finished listening to the interview and my take is this, I am thinking, he is thinking

He wants a championship and we want one too.

Damn, let's just hope we can land one or two of these guys. I have based my conclusion on tiny parts of certain interviews when kids who have never experienced this sort of media crush say something totally irrelevant. I also heavily rely on certain tweets and the opinions of some insiders from rival schools that are also in the hunt for these kids. I choose to ignore that in a composite of so called expert predictions we have a substantial lead for all five young men.

So disregard recruit ACTIONS for the last two years, but rely heavily on insiders from other schools trying to keep their fan base engaged with talk about high ranking prospects.

You have a brilliant plan man

Jeremy Crabtree is a Bama homer. Disregard anything he says.

I agree with this statement However at the 15:10 mark he all but said the were all going to LSU with Speedy being the only possible miss.

You don't think losing out on the biggest prospect on your board, whom you have been paving the way for the last 3 years is a blow? Not only that, his second option to LSU is it's biggest rival. There has already been discussion of the "fences down" etc, this would just add fuel to the fire.

Yes, it would be a blow. Would it be a crushing blow to the program and staff? No. You can't force a kid to go to your school, and one player does not a program make.

This x1000. Wish more people on here had this clear, level-headed outlook.

When a post is created with a small quote, it can be very misleading since it could be taken out of context. And then oh no, everyone makes negative assumptions. I find it much more accurate when you can actually watch or listen to the entire line of questioning. I was super positive in 5for5, and I believe we pull some other surprises, but I too have doubts after reading all of this crap. Gotta have faith on Thursday.

Here's a legitimate question regarding the Big 5. Would you rather be any other school right now for any of these kids? My answer is "no", it would be a real surprise for any if these young men to go anywhere but LSU. Not saying it could not happen but I think we are in really good shape with all of them.

I love how some on here can somehow pick apart every little thing someone says and somehow spin absolutely nothing into the worst case scenario for LSU. WTF is wrong with you people?

I totally understand your statement. I also agree with you, I just know that to lose LF (which I am not saying happens) would cause such a frenzy and tidal wave of negativity, that it could definitely have an effect on future recruiting etc. Losing LF would be on a whole different level than any recruit in recent memory, he is a once in a generation talent.
