Les Miles’ 2012 class brought numerous major contributors and future pros. Three signees are in the NFL (Kwon Alexander, Hill, Hunter) and several others certainly will be (Vadal Alexander, Mills, Jerald Hawkins and Dural). Ten players didn’t finish at LSU; two never made it to campus after signing and eight others transferred or left the team.

LSU comes in at number 2 with an A- grade. This was considered Miles' worst recruiting class at the time they signed, but they exceeded expectations. Just goes to show how great this staff has been at evaluating talent.

Isn't that the year we missed on Landon and Giel?

It was a great class and obviously underrated but I think people just had a bad tastes in their mouth about how those two things happened. Not to mention 1/6 was a few weeks prior....

I bet you're a lot of fun

Is that not a legitimate question? That 2012 group was the "worst" ranked recruiting class with three top 10 groups following it in (13, 14, 15). Now the re-ranks says that class turned out to actually be pretty good, yet the best LSU has to show for it in the past 4 seasons is:

2012 T-2nd in SEC West
2013 3rd in SEC West
2014 T-4th in SEC West
2015 T-3rd in SEC West

Obviously Alabama being in the same division has a lot to do with that, but couldn't you argue that LSU is getting less out of more?

List seems legit. #1 class won 3 of the 4 possible SEC titles since, and was a "kick six" away from the sweep.

Who has more to show? UF at 3, UGA at 4, Ole miss, MSU?

That class was good not great, that's the point. Apparently no one else's was that great either outside of #1. The string of 2014-2016 classes will get us back

LSU doesn't exist in a vacuum, yet Miles and the program are held to an almost impossible standard - basically if you're not first you're last.

That's the Ricky Bobby mentality of the Rantards that get into the recruiting board. Everyone here would like to be first. The staff is working hard towards that. Changes do need to be made and we'll see if it's addressed. To keep constantly bashing a program with negativity all day and night over and over when you're a supposed "fan" is insane. Either you're a Bama 40 just here to start shite, or you're a miserable person that doesn't ever get invited to parties as they know you'll shite all over it as well. Good luck not going out today and attempting to blindly walk across the Interstate.

Not meant for you slackster......I agree with your post.
