On priorities with the final six spots...

"(Defensive Line) is going to be a priority. We have some big-time guys left. We are right there in it with them. For at least one or two, with two or three guys out there. Some big-time running backs are out there. Now it gives me a little time to look at our board and see who is out there. Maybe go get another safety or another cornerback which we need, but we have to just look at the board."

I think we get a corner, safety, d line, running back, o line, and leave last spot for a transfer.

By saying there’s a need to sign a running back, is it safe to assume we didn’t get the running back we wanted?

Would Coach want a 2nd running back in this class?

Reading between the lines on this one forecasts Stingley moving to receiver. Good for the young man

It is interesting that there are posters here who think they know more than the coaches during game days and there are those who think they know more in recruiting than coach O.

They’ve already said they’re going to try Stingley on both sides of the ball. He’s not becoming just a WR

I would take two corners and a running back and an o line and be happy with that. 3 good running backs out there that have not signed yet. A safety would be good to have. A defensive end would be good to have

lolwut? Stingley is a top 5 NFL pick already at CB if he came out today. He will remain a CB first.

Terrible take.

O’s promise to Stingley Sr for his son to play WR is in his JR year. That’s his $$$ year. It will both display his multi-talented diverse skill set as well as increase his Heisman chances. But first and foremost, Sting will remain the most elite of all CB’s. His WR play will be situational spot-duty only.

If we actively start courting Gibbs and others, yes. We won’t take two RBs.
