Ponchatoula's transfer lives 2 miles from the school and went to Ponchatoula Jr. High. Not even comparable to this situation.
I was referencing Princeton Pines and not the Quarterback transfer. Just clearing that up.
Princeton is back in Baton Rouge at Tara.

All the major programs pay! You can believe what you want, but the reality is college football is all about winning and has nothing to do with college. It's about big money and I can't blame these young athletes for wanting to get some money! If they're injured, they are tossed aside like trash!

If starks chooses one of the mississippi schools over LSU, his home state school, than he is a big dummy...especially with the defensive coordinator we have. Aranda is as good as it gets with linebackers and would develop him and prepare him for the nfl better than anyone the miss schools have to offer. State and ole miss suck, combined they still arent the program that LSU is. That's a fact.

Who said it would be a Mississippi school he would choose? he can go anywhere in the country.
All I am stating is the kid has been back in Louisiana since January of this year preparing to play for the school he chose in his hometown where he grew up. He came back home and certain people here wanted him gone. It will sting; It will hurt. He won't forget.
In the end, all I am saying is that I hope that it doesn't piss him off so much that he refuses to come back again. There may be those that did not want him here for their own reasons, but we LSU fans definitely wish im to come back and we won't run him off once he is here.
I second everything you said: Aranda is a proven commodity and only getting better.

Ah gotcha. The Princeton Pines saga was weird. His dad is from Toula and called randomly one day saying son was transferring because dad was moving to take care of sick mother.
Parents werent separated so there was no way he could be eligible.

Yet, now he is at Tara High School??
What is up at University Lab?

Tara is his attendance zone. The Uhigh coach wanted nothing to do with the kid anymore. They didnt see eye to eye

I see..
So two years in a row they lose a college recruit on the offensive line. Yikes.

And what happens "IF" during the LHSAA's investigation, they "DISCOVER" the entire time he was playing at Wossman he lived in West Monroe and a Wossman coach was driving him to Wossman everyday?
I actually see where that could be totally legal if his first residence--when choosing a school before his 9th grade year and at the time of his first day of class--was in Wossman's zone with a primary address in that attendance zone.
The rules state clearly that his parents could then reside ANYWHERE pretty much and he would still be eligible at his first school of choice. I read it 3 or 4 times to make sure what I was reading was correct. After you said that I had to find time to look it up. So, a coach could take him to school even while living in West Monroe although his mom had a primary address in Monroe in the Wossman zone when he first started high school at Wossman. Crazy, yes, I know it is.
Things only get dicey when he decides to transfer.

I'm at the Biloxi High School game tonight where Starks transferred to and he's a beast at linebacker. He's unblockable and is a extremely hard hitter. He's even been in at quarterback on about 10 plays running the read option. Very hard to tackle and looks like a man among boys on both sides of the ball.

Yea,I'm sure he can't wait to get the hell out of there.Biloxi is terrible and Bobby Hall has no idea how to run a modern offense. The game passed him by 15 years ago.
Starks knows a lot the kids on the team however. He went to school with a lot of them from 6-8 grade.
