He has tweeted out that he may be leaving Ehret and returning to Mississippi because of something to do with the Jefferson Parish School Board..

Now, he has been there since last Spring I believe and they have had months to clear him to play (I didn't even think a school board had any business clearing kids to play anywhere) yet they wait until 2 weeks before the season?

Looks like with Coach Lambert going down they are out for blood at Ehret within the system.

How does it reflect on recruitment? A kid who moved back home from Mississippi isn't even cleared to play in his own hometown? Something very odd and hope it does not affect his recruitment to return home again after he finishes his career.

Seeing that Mississippi schools stink at football, I still like our chances.

With kids these days I don't put anything past them in terms of their mindset.

Moving back to your home state to then be pushed back regardless of the fact it has nothing to do with LSU will leave an impression without a doubt.

LSU will be wise to stay clear of everything happening down in Marrero right now.

Where ever Starks signs trouble on and off the field will follow. But hey he is 4 star so sure everyone is going to overlook some issues already being tagged to this kid.Just be prepared for a wallet to open up to sign him.

Illegal recruiting and finding homes and jobs for parents of recruited players is one of the big things going on there.

From my understanding as long as financial benefit is not rendered there is no harm.

Are you insinuating that any form of help, i.e. coaching staff or boosters helping parents find a job and home, is illegal? Seriously?? What is that? Now, if they bought them a home or were giving them money to move back, that is a different story entirely.

Also, if he was approached by Lambert or some other coach to move back, I still have no problem with that. The kid was in freaking Mississippi and not Louisiana.

This is a witch-hunt. The kid has lived here since the beginning of 2017 and they just now are coming down on his ruling?

Naw, this is a complete and utter shite show. Ehret received 3 transfers--Jenkins, Pinn, and Starks. Now everyone lost their marbles and scream cheaters. You do know that Amite received a big time quarterback transfer? So did Ponchatoula.. West Monroe received a huge transfer. Landry-Walker received a big time transfer.

But, John Ehret is in a district where 2 players transferred from schools within the same district and they are out for their head. Plain and simple.

With all the NCAA HEAT in MS I doubt seriously MSST or Ole Piss is gonna be paying to play anytime soon.

I like LSU/O/Aranda's chances

we're all shady. LW had a basketball transfer who got held up by the LHSAA and missed his senior year, we had Mitchell Robinson who some said HAD to be paid for along with a few other transfers, and when EJ won state, Salt was getting kids in there

I would go as far as saying majority of college recruits except some extra benefits for signing with a school. Hell, I've heard of some fcs schools paying recruits

That's been happening in Texas for about 30 years now It's even spread to basketball and baseball. That's nothing new in high school sports

Ponchatoula's transfer lives 2 miles from the school and went to Ponchatoula Jr. High. Not even comparable to this situation.

Now the QB Amite got on the other hand...... Shady

Also, the mentioned situation at Ehret is the least of the big 3 crimes that were committed to get the coach fired.

And what happens "IF" during the LHSAA's investigation, they "DISCOVER" the entire time he was playing at Wossman he lived in West Monroe and a Wossman coach was driving him to Wossman everyday?

BOOM!!!

Wouldn't that take the cake!?

If that is the case than this is absurd and he should be ruled eligible immediately!! What a crock. The LHSAA is about to go all in though WM. I'm telling you from the other forum to this one. They only wish to stop all the transfers regardless of what the rules are or if any grievances had been committed. I bet you this gets drawn out a lonnnnggg timmmee. West Monroe better put that money to use and get him cleared the right way $$$$
