He's a 5-star according to Scout and 247, but not Composite. Hopefully he'll finish as one. Kid deserves it.

I don't visit Rivals much anymore. I wonder when they adjust their rankings again.

Composite isn't updated yet because they'll wait for the full releases of new rankings.
247 is next Monday I believe
Scout is the next couple of days with top 100 and 300
Rivals is probably next week as well. They will do the same song and dance announcing 5* then so on and so on
ESPN I have no clue about and don't really pay attention to theirs anyway. Their rankings just don't jive with me.
Jackson is a 5 on at least 2 of the lists so it will be close in the composite based on where rivals and ESPN rank him. He's got a shot at bring a 5 on rivals as well. Really the only way he shouldn't be a composite 5 is if ESPN has him tremendously low

It's weird that rivals was once the go-to. If it weren't for ESPN they'd be the least expected recruiting service now.

Yeah, I check it every now and then, but I don't subscribe there. Although I do put some stock in their rankings.

Donte Jackson is a shutdown corner, straight up. He didn't even give anyone a chance in the all star game. He was told that they wanted him to play corner so many reps that they wouldn't allow him to kick return in the game. He's a baller.

Dude definitely deserves the 5*. He's a monster, will shine at LSU if he chooses to come here. Our secondary isn't going to be fair for the next few years

Xavier Lewis gets sort of lost with all the Toliver, Jackson, and now Marshall talk. He's extremely talented and versatile. He'll be a guy moving into the slot and can cover as well as anyone in the nation. That's scary.

I'd feel better if he wasn't announcing right after his UGA visit and before his LSU one. Most believe he's LSU for now.
