I know they seem to hate LSU but if we get Rashard, Willie, and Trayvon, we'll for sure lock in the #1 class on ESPN's list. A lot of people on here think that's not important, and from an accuracy standpoint, you're probably correct. It's important, though, because ESPN is who talks to fanbases, not 247. Regardless of how we land on 247's composite rankings, for the next year you'll be hearing how LSU is the #1 class - and I like that. It helps us for recruiting next year. If we were the #2 class, you'd never hear our name.

I'd like to ESPN's No. 1 class just for the exposure. However, I expect OSU and Bama to be adding recruits at about the same rate as LSU, or near about. So you can't simply say that LSU will add 3 highly ranked players and get the top spot because OSU and other schools in the mix will also be adding highly ranked players.

Bama is lower than they have ever been at the time of the year. OSU can add a few players but they have to stop at 25, but LSU will probably go over 25. Mullen and Lawrence are probably rated higher than any players OSU will add.

before we celebrate that, let's see how they close. This is Saban we're talking about. He's one of the greatest recruiters in college football history.

They are trying to close with Juco olinemen and are pulling offers from 4* OL in order to get them. I'm not underestimating his abilities, I'm just looking at the writing on the wall.

Also keep an eye on Ole Miss and Michigan. One of those two will add Gary and get a hugh boost with the ESPN rankings.

Yeah ESPN is what 95% of the population will go by. Lebron won't be tweeting about the top class on 247

So these 4 are battling it out: Ohio State, LSU, Alabama, and Ole Miss. One sticks out on that list.

I just find myself in this position each year. No way he returns all those juniors, no way he signs another 5 star qb, no way he gets that kid...he finds a way to make it work.

No. 1 OT and the top ranked committed DT with a shot at the No. 1 player overall. Sheez...

Honestly, Ole Miss better hope they don't pull Gary because that school will feel the wrath of Harbaugh and Michigan for years. He would probably flip out, drive to Mississippi, knock of Freezes door, and then shite on his rug.

I know, it's a joke. I'll like the publicity but doesn't change the fact that they have shite rankings and they think theirs carry so much more weight than everyone else.

And Ole Miss is pulling top players from Texas and Georgia. They are gonna piss somebody off and get turned in, no doubt.
