I sure hope that is correct. Would hate to not get him. Keep in mind he just visited Bama though.

He's commiting a year before signing. He might commit to UM, then see Harbaugh leave and change his mind. Even if he commits to LSU, LSU will have to probably show all fall they can put up big numbers with someone not named Jayden on a week in week out basis. Until the ink is wet on the page, nothing is for sure.

I don't know if it'll help, but playing in a national championship game certainly can't hurt.

Wow, I'm glad he is committing soon...this topic is already getting old. Hmmmm, let me think about it. More important to win a NC or win the Heisman? I think a QB would be much more swayed by a passing offense team that has produced 2 Heisman winners in the last 5 years.

Players don’t care about individual wins.

The big thing with Underwood was that he wanted to be in the SEC. I think Bama is a bigger threat. I don’t think he went to many if any Michigan games.

Did LSU having its second Heisman in 5 years help push him towards LSU.

I think seeing our offense today without jD helps us. It can be him. Money money money money

I just cant seee them coming in this late and stealing him. Esp after the year our offense just had and all the momentum we have building for this 2025 class...

But... we have set ourselves up really well with QB2 George McIntire if the unthinkable happens

I think that may have been about getting him on campus and on their radar in case he ever hits the portal. A lot of players stick with the familiar there, either going back home or to programs or coaches who recruited them the first time around.

recruiting guys already said even after that visit, LSU feels damn good about where they are at.

Also, Nuss just put up 400 yards and 3 TDs with co-OCs and will have 3 of his top leading receivers from that game next year with redshirt freshman Sampson, Brown, and Parker waiting in the wings.
