Washington just seems like he's not SEC material. Saw his film, and wasn't thoroughly impressed. Also at 5'8 safety isn't a great position for him.

Griffin-- I don't think he stays committed. With his 2 buddies decommiting, I think he should see the writing on the wall and doubt O let's his scholarship stay commitable.

Didn't seem to affect Budda Baker too much last year at Washington. He was a second round pick.

The guy has 3 offers from LSU, TCU, and UTSA. Yeah, I'm crazy. If it wasn't for the package deal type offer sheet LSU presented, he would have 2 offers. One from a mid of the pack Big 12 school and the other one from Frank Wilson.

I think a lot of other D1 schools would be offering if he could "ball".

He was 5'9 174 as a senior in HS according to 247. Ardarius is listed at 5'8 175...so almost exactly the same.

He still has time to grow. If he gets to 5'9 185 he'll be big enough to play in the nickel/dime position.

I gues we'll see. Just doesn't seem like the prototypical LSU safety. Never seen LSU really recruit a small guy like himself.

Laron Landry, Eric Reid, Jamal Adams were all pretty big guys. Jacoby Stevens, grant Delpit, Todd Harris are big guys. All in the 6 foot 200lb range.

This guy was too small and didn't have any legit offers other than LSU and a below average SEC team.

Washington is the real deal. Won't play safety he will be an inside corner and he's perfect for that position. Blitzing, knocking balls down, shifty, he's a more developed Jackson IMO. He's also well coached and comes from a winning tradition. The kid is a stud so idk what your talking about with him. Now Griffin unless they plan to move him to FB isn't likely to be here unless he has a breakout season and grows a little. Griffin isn't going anywhere anytime soon because they will at least give him time to develop more, never know it may work out and then the HCs there may send others to LSU for keeping their word. All parties win, then if he doesn't work out they at offer a gray shirt or stop recruiting him as hard then he may just leave on his own doing.

Again he's not going to play safety. He'll play nickel and dime packages on the inside only. He's not big enough to play safety you are correct which is why we signed (2) really big top safety prospects last year and one this year. Will probably get another next year maybe (2). Don't worry Washington is a player and will be a great addition to LSU. HTTDB

He's a nickle, not a safety, and he's going to be a damn good one.

Think Mathieu...He's going to be at Nickel and he's going to wreck shop.

That being said, I wouldn't be shocked if he switched to TCU. He will be there 7/21 with a lot of other Louisiana kids including Rogers.

I can watch the whole thing over and over. It's great film, he reacts, and tackles with skill as well. Looks a lot like TM. He's going visit TCU with his boys for the trip, nothing more. Washington will be a Tiger!

Gold star? Wow!

Wow, first time watching. Very impressive. What kind of athlete is he? I know he's on the smaller side but as far as pure speed and strength?

Lol not sure what you're watching but this Washington can absolutely play and will be a stud as a nickel in this defense. Griffin is a toss up at this point.
