Yeah - we've been blessed with good defensive back coaching/recruiting/players going back awhile - even during Malveto - Mallory was a pretty good DB coach and he's probably the worst we've had going back to Hallman's staff.
Going back to the 1995 NFL draft (Dinardo was the coach but hadn't coached yet), only 7 years (out of 23) saw no LSU DB taken in the draft. And many years, we've had multiple picks at the position group, 11 total over the last 6 drafts, for example.
