I think our biggest argument is distance and not the NFL. I'm sure Mario is aware both programs are capable of getting him to the NFL.

i think once we get 1-2 DL in the NFL that make a big impact, we will be able to have the recruits flow to us like acneboy flowing to my little pony chatrooms. montgomery and mingo likely will be those guys (possibly brockers)

I think our argument is SEC vs ACC.......that is where we can sell the most. ACC has been pathetic in BCS since its conception, and the NFL knows the disparity in the trenches between the two conferences.

Our argument is that LSU is better than FSU in every facet except one.

???I mean RJF is playing in the NFC championship today.

Kyle Williams just made another probowl and notched a big time contract?

Jarvis Green has 3 superbowl rings?

We don't have a defensive MVP award but all our guys have made a career at the position, and thats all you can hope for.

i don't know if logan is an NFL guy

Freak/Rasco - WAY too far away from saying they'll have an impact in the NFL (esp Rasco)

No doubt. Brokers is projected as high as the third player taken in the first round.

He has been overlooked his entire life. He will fly under the radar and play well in the NFL.

isn't he a backup NT? that's not exactly a big impact

he's a good DL but he's a guy that is linked to the previous staff. no recruit is going to be like "yeah i want to be a star like kyle williams" also

dude

but i'm talking about a star DL

the closest thing would have been booger back in the day before injuries got him

i agree. but he needs to become a top-flight DT for what i'm saying. we've gotten a ton of guys drafted highly the past 6-7 years without question

oh i'm not hating on him. he's just real small for an NFL DT. i hope he anchors our DT rotation next year

The NFL drafts players not conferences

well i think our previous DL philosophy had a part in it, but we seem to be recruiting and developing guys into more of a chance at an NFL impact. we're not using the jumbo DEs and are going for more pass rushers. i'm hoping this pays dividends

a nice derivative effect from chavis implementing his philosophy over time

except Mario would be one of these if he wants to stay on the outside

Shea Dixon @Sheadixon
Mario Edwards & his dad are back on the road after Fri-Sun in Baton Rouge. Lots of time spent with Brick Haley. LSU keeps inching closer...
