I know how we feel about threads for every single tweet but I felt this one deserved it! Seems a little reassuring but at the same time shows that OU still has a chance!

Welp, he's gone, no doubt in my mind.

I'll still be a fan of his and wish the best for his family.

The way I read it is it sounds like Sooner fans are giving him a hard time for being committed to LSU, and he's saying if he were to flip he doesn't want them to become bandwagon fans by being nice to him all of a sudden.

I just think he is truly torn and if things were a little different with his family then no doubt he would be a tiger. I will root for the guy. I'm not going to start cheering for ou though. He's the opposite of a tony brown.

What happened is that he got mad at the Oklahoma fans who gave his brother (who plays for Okie St.)a hard time tonight. I think he tweeted something then deleted it, I guess he has calmed down now & understands that fans will be fans.

If you read the rest of the tweets after that he is basically saying how two-faced the Oklahoma fan base is when it comes to recruiting. He even called out a few of the OU fans directly. Also, didn't he just reemphasize his commitment to LSU just 2 days ago?

Although I hope that he is ragging some of the more fanatical OU fans, I also get the feeling that he could be opening the door for a flip flop. Either way, it sure does seem like a tough situation to be in when the parents want something different than he does. Lets hope that the OV and time spent with coaches lately have locked him up because he is a big part of this class.

I won't rag on him either way but some of our own fans who love to drum up excuses why we didn't want those guys who go to our rivals need to check themselves and realize just how weak minded they look to these young fellas.

I don't follow anyone on Twitter, but based on this post alone it seems he is trying to let LSU fans down easy. I feel for him and his family though, must be trying times in what should be a joyous time in his life. Wherever he goes I wish him well (hope it is LSU) but will never be a Sooner fan. 2003 broke me of that possibility.

Well he did say this right before the tweet the OP posted.

quote:

@ClarkBoy_2: Well I see some OU Fans are really showing there true self tonight. Lol, Great Job Scooter..Y'all can't get to me, please believe!

Which leads me to believe OU fans have been giving him a hard time about his LSU trip.

Plus he follows Dandy Don guys, LSU lock

He likes the Tigers no doubt and doesn't want to hurt us fans feelings. It is something he has to do and not want to do. God bless his mom and his family. Thanks for considering LSU.

I know this kind of stuff happens to young recruits at times. It's a hard decision for them. But how does it happen so often to LSU that we lose a recruit or quality young man like him? Very unfortunate for him.

I hope that Les has communicated with the young man. Les doesn't need to hope and get left out of another recruit he expected to get. With the no "talking about" rule the NCAA has on recruiting who knows what these coaching know or try to find out from a kid before signing day?

Define "irony"

As far as Clark's concerned, given the circumstances, I can't be mad at him if he chooses OU. I wish him the best either way.

I think he meant to put "If by chance I don't become a Sooner..."
