Also the rule states you can still bring a player in as long as there were no prior incidents. Which in this case is true.

After watching that video, she deserved that, and swung first. She was a female, but that wasn't a woman. Not making excuses, and no one should hit a woman, but no I'll will to that guy, no matter where he ends up...

This was an 18-year-old kid drunk in a bar during the summer before his freshman year (he enrolled at midterm and played in the FSU spring game).
Watching his interviews on GMA and various news channels, he never made an excuse for what he did. He owned up to it.

Do people really think myles or lowell can come in and play day 1? Whats the harm in bringing in a former mr football who could possibly propel lsu into a playoff scenario? It's easy to play the "second chance" card in this case.

Well, I'm not sure LSU is a playoff team next season.
But, I do know, LSU is not going into Tuscaloosa with Etling or either two freshman at the helm and winning. The same could probably be said for Gainesville.

Exactly lsufreek. He hasn't had ANY incidents outside of this one freak occurance. He deserves a shot. Will coach O give it is the question. Is there any interest on lsu's side? How can these reports come out and yet he says lsu hasn't even reached out to him?

because they're looking into him. Just haven't made contact.
He knows Craig.
Craig knows Jimbo. Jimbo knows Rick Trickett. Trickett knows Clint Trickett, who is the quarterbacks coach at EMCC ... Think about that. This kid got kicked out of FSU yet ended up at a school (albeit a high-profile one) where his position coach is the son to one of his previous coaches.

Rick trickett was never his coach or even recruiter. The key here is craig. He recruited him to come to fsu. He has ties with clint trickett being at emcc but that wasn't why he went to emcc. He has paid his debt. Sat out a year and has done everything asked of him. What else can he do in the eyes of the public? And you have kids like bethel at tx tech and mixon at ou (it's said the mixon video is 100 times worse, but its been conveniently sealed(

I don't have a problem with DJohnson IF he was racially slurred and taken a swing at by the woman first. But I highly doubt he was sipping on a beer and had this woman come up from behind him call him a n.... and take a swing at him. Surely there is more to the story than that.
