Yeah the Jarreau and Gresham thing made no sense, will decide between UMass and Miami...wut

Apparently the staff feels VERY confident on Ado now...Fox is still a work in progress though.

I really don't get it. Both guys could've gotten a ton of playing time right down the road. Maybe the staff cooled on them. I honestly rather Gresham but both could've made a impact year one

Came over here to see what is being said about Fox. Cal has in home visit and crystal ball has 94 percent Kentucky. Think he also visiting Big Blue Madness. Think the kid is Lexington bound.

I actually want Gresham more than I do Jarreau. It'd just be exciting to get a guy as athletic as he is with his size.

Of course Ado would more than compensate for losing him, even though I would assume Gresham would be a 4 anyways.

Fox is a pipe dream, sure, but I'm not going to count our staff out for anyone. I can't help but wonder if LSU is the distant second for him.

I think Kansas is 2cd on the list with Zona. Fox is a priority for Cal with Monk. I see both with Bridges in Lexington.

I don't really care about the crystal ball bs, not even for football. Still that's huge he'll be in Lexington for Big Blue Madness. I love my tiger basketball, but that's like asking Commonwealth to rival Death Valley.

I'm sure he'll go to UK, but my only angle is that mom would enjoy that drive to Baton Rouge more than Lexington

That would be absolute filth. I think LSU splits the Kentucky games this season, then Cal beats us by a good 20-30 for payback in our rebuilding year

Kid is one and done. I am sure mom will gladly wait when NBA checks come in a year. If a kid is coming to Big Blue Madness, then it is pretty much he is Lexington bound.

I wonder where all the ado love came from, other than him planning a visit, and why he dropped so much in the rankings?

Pig fans would just melt when Monk goes to UK. They swore to me that the Arkie pull was strong and he would be a Hog. Cal said next years class maybe one of his best besides the Wall class

I don't think they'll be shocked anymore with how Anderson's tenure has unfolded. They weren't even going to be that good this season, but the counterfeit scandal makes them bottom 3 bad.

While I get Fox's mom is going to enjoy those NBA checks, I think it'd be dumb to imply LSU can't get him to the NBA either. He could go to TCU, and not even Trent johnson could stop him from that. Plus LSU's staff has shown it can develop guards just fine.

Again, I'm sure he's Kentucky bound, but I wouldn't be shocked if a Houston kid had LSU ahead of KU right now.

Yeah, i totally get that Kentucky dominates the draft. Just pointing out that if our staff can turn Quarterman into a future first rounder and even get Johnny O'Bryant into the NBA, they're just fine from a developmental standpoint.

I mean how much does coaching play in a one and done recruit? Good coaching is important, but will 9 months at 1 school be the difference between being a top 5 pick and future all star, or a borderline 1st round pick and a average player? I don't think so, players make their biggest improvements once they leave school and get personal training all over the country. Callipari sends so many guys into the league because he gets the best players out of college. Anthony Davis would still be Anthony Davis if he went to UL Lafayette

I agree completely, hence my Trent Johnson couldn't screw him up reference.

Cal is great at managing so much young talent to create synergy and a complete team instead of a bunch of selfish players. It's just something so few coaches get the opportunity to manage anyways.

Marcus Thornton was UNBELIEVABLE under dumbass Trent Johnson.

Well said.

Believe it was John Wooden who said "the greatest thing about a freshman is he becomes a sophomore". Different times, of course; and for some of that time period, freshman couldn't even play for the varsity. Still, the age of the player [18 to 20] and their improvement in strength, game awareness and overall abilities are consistent for the vast majority of players.
