Fox, who narrowed his options to Arizona, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisville, LSU, N.C. State and North Carolina in mid-August, gets things started on September 9th with an in-home visit with LSU. Kansas then comes in on the 11th, followed by Arizona on the 14th, N.C. State on the 16th and Kentucky on the 21st.
Not only will LSU get the first in-home visit, but also the first official. Fox is scheduled to visit the Tigers the weekend of September 19th. The very next weekend (Sept. 26th) he'll take a trip to Louisville.
After a weekend off the road, Fox is scheduled for Kansas' Late Night festivities the weeknd of October 10th, while Kentucky will host him for their Big Blue Madness the weeknd of October 17th.

Would be huge for Jones and arguably his biggest pull at LSU for the following reasons: Martin was a BR native and Patrick is the reason Simmons is here, which IMO begat Blakeney. This would be a 5-star pull over the big boys with relatively little connection to BR or the LSU program. He presumably would be coming here based on the merits of where this program (hopefully) is going

Where is everyone getting this sudden confidence in landing him? I know Jones and Patrick have Houston ties, and we're a hot brand right now, but I can't get that confident when his top 4 happen to be those schools

Well sure, but there's a big difference between optimism and "there's no doubt he ends up in p and g" posts. I was just wondering if there's some sort of scuttlebutt amongst basketball recruiting that he's LSU bound.

The one guy who made that silly comment has 14 posts.... It's not like one of the regular basketball recruiting guys who actually follows this stuff.
