The other is Isaiah Buggs (6-5 280, MGCCC), the No. 1 JUCO defensive end in the country. The word is that his decision is expected on Sunday as well. Buggs was once believed to be leaning to LSU, but the timing of his announcement, combined with the fact that he was at Auburn yesterday, makes me a little suspicious.

We need this guy. He's a grown-arse man ready to play immediately. Anybody know what's going on here? Would absolutely suck if he goes elsewhere.

Well considering he left for Auburn this morning and he said that we was going to announce August 28th on his birthday makes the Dandy Don report pretty foolish.

Look I like Scott Long but he is far from a reliable source in this age of recruiting information.

He's coming to LSU's picnic today, or at least that was his plan. Auburn wants him to stay for theirs. If he shows up at LSU today I think that says it all and it could be over sooner than later.

It appears we have lost the picnic battle, but not yet the war...

Buggs will make or break the 2017 class! We need him and he can play anywhere on the DL. If we have him, Shelvin, Moffit and get T Valentine back the. We can call it a day and just pursue M. Wilson heavy to wrap it up at DL. We can then put all focus on Linebacker. I say this because I think Kary Vincent and Todd Harris are in the bag as far as DB goes.

Well thats just false. Class is stacked. He would be the cherry on top but one recruit does not a class make.

He knows LSU well enough, so he doesn't have to show for every event. I too am hoping he signs with the good guys.

I just can't see buggs signing with auburn even if he commits now I think he eventually is persuaded when these guys see what Aranda can do and I think Aranda will be our ACE closer when he has that advantage of his great scheme pitch to work with at some point in the season. Now this is of course IF the scheme looks that good. I think it will and they are Tigers in the end! Let's get em!

The GREAT thing about Aranda is that IF he loses out on the great ones he has a great eye for the smart leader types of 3* guys for a plan B or C. We'll be fine once the pads start popping. GT

I think he picks LSU.

Going to Auburn is like jumping into a Dumpster Fire.

Gus has 1 more year likely.

Steele has weakened every defense he has taken over. I actually looked at a ton of numbers not too long ago and he is about a +40-50 yard a game difference.

Sounds fishy the X Old Miss bag man who was at Auburn doing the Cam days might be back at Auburn .

I thought the 2010 class lost its luster a bit when we lost Mike Davis and Justin Hunter after long verbal commitments practically right before signing day...Les just went out a year later and signed OBJ and Jarvis Landry...I think that worked out pretty well.

I would really like to have Buggs but with Coach O and Aranda...I am not that stressed about DL recruiting.

Do people like to race out with this phrase because they think it makes them seem cool?

Kinda like posting "it's over" or "we done" in the first inning.

You're right. Can't remember his name, the RB from John Curtis, that went to USC, the next Reggie Bush
