Dan Hunter is so underrated.

He may be my favorite recruit by the end of the season. This guy is so nasty. Why is he ranked so low?

His highschool coach just gushed about how good he is, how he is as good as Von Miller was at this stage, how he can put on 50 pounds and still keep his speed, and the fact that he is only 16 years old.
He will be one of 4 or 5 guys in this class that will get huge bumps before the end of the year IMO

Alright, but to avoid the haters here is what he added
" I don’t want to say that he is as good as Von or better than Von, but at this stage, he is probably ahead of where Von Miller was.”

I guess he is a little raw. The film I saw showed incredible athleticism, but not a polished DE. He should probably be a 4-star based on his freakish athleticism, period. We'll see how it pans out.

Isn't Hunter already a lot bigger than Von Miller was coming out of HS? And won't Hunter be even bigger than he is now by next year? So why compare the two? They aren't that similar.
Also, wasn't Miller from Desoto? How does a coach from Katy know how far along a Desoto player was at age 16? Just curious. Because unless said Katy coach actually coached at Desoto, I call bullshite. It isn't like Katy and Desoto are close to one another.

Rankings have always been as valid as people believed them to be. I believe they are becoming even more of an illusion as recruiting is drastically changing its schedule. We're almost done with our class and these kids haven't even played a senior year of football. It's impossible for the sites to accurately predict for some of these kids.

I know this but I don't understand how he is so underrated with the current footage he has from his junior season. Maybe there is a lot of bad footage that no one is seeing.

I'm not being negative, just skeptical. Also, you need to calm down. No need to get your panties in a wad just because I question a comparison between Miller (a jack linebacker or buck end) and Hunter (who will probably be 275 when he is done growing and play the strong side).

Will be in rivals 250 before signing day.
However, I thought Trevon Randle was a lock for that too but he never got the bump for whatever reason.
