Wetzel was great. Dont forget that Josh Tolbert was the qb of the best Rummel team in school history.

Wilson was like 30-6 as a starter when the Catholic League was at its peak. It's probably was never better during that time period.

pretty sure he has most of the records too at the position. I haven't read a game program recently.

I like Williams' tools but hear his accuracy is nothing to write home about. Unless something has changed the staff is not high on any of the instate QBs. Jaleel Bridges was the guy they were highest on back around the time of the Jr. Days. Don't think they've seen anything to this point to change their minds. Those Elite 11 camps are not a good gauge for qbs according to most. I'm not very good at evaluating Qbs so I couldn't tell you if they are good indicators or not.

Buisson??? Guess you guys never saw Joe Burckel, Eddie Horridge, or Jay Roth play.
Rummel has been around since 65, you know.

1) Scotty was the best QB to play at Rummel. Of course he is 5'9"

2) Damien is good, he has a pretty strong arm, and runs really hard. Could move to a big running back at the next level. Rummel isn't known for the intricacies of its passing attack however.

Jay Roth himself will tell you Daris Wilson is the best QB to play for him. I thnk that says enough. Those were the glory years of Rummel football with him under center.

Best Rummel QB ever: Norman Hodgins

Went on to play a few years for the Bears as a DB

Buisson may have been the better college player. Not in high school though imo

I can agree with that.
