I can only imagine what this kid would have did in Purple and Gold on signing day I really thought he was a steal for LSU because i watched him last year a lot dominate evry team he went against. I heard he was told he would be apart of class but LSU wanted him to greyshirt.

For which class did sign with LSU? Because I've been following recruiting since around 1999 and I've never heard of this kid.

He's the kid from the 2015 class that was a preferred walk on but the budget shite killed TOPS and he got a full ride to Southern and signed right after

Did you even read the article?

The former LSU commit mentioned is Chuck Baker. Don't recall him either.

Obviously a lot of you don't follow LSU recruiting as much as you think you do.

Don't remember Baker but certainly remember Curtland Williams as agreeing to come to LSU as a preferred walk-on.

Well, I sure as shite don't follow preferred walkons. How many of those have been starting at LSU besides the occasional kicker or fullback?

This one would have played ! Was told the LSU staff got on him late and offered a greyshirt and he considered it, but eventually decided he wanted to play as a freshman.

And a few ST specialists, like Ryan O'Neal.

So we whiffed on him "greyshrting", and settled for Sullivan, Anderson, and Davis.

I'm cool with that.

ETA: we get it... You know him (related to him, went to same school, live in same neighborhood, what have you). And I hope he lights it up at Southern, turns heads, makes the NFL and becomes an all-time great repping the boot. But for now, this is NOT earth shattering news.

I wish your buddy well. GEAUX TIGERS!

Not saying that we wouldnt be okay just saying he will be pretty good and there isnt anybody on the roster with his skill and as shifty as he is, would have been a good screen player trindon type guy thats all buddy Don't really know him or where he stays but i got to see him a couple times over the last couple years because my wifes younger brother was on the team at Southern Lab ! I may stay in your neighboorhood you never know. Saw him play against Sullivan and wasnt impressed lazy bad routes footwork wasnt good also saw Drake #TRUTH
