The fact that Hammond had been active on the board (and seemingly giddy) has me optimistic.
However, Devonta Pollard trolled us all pretty hard last year too, so who knows?

Watcher, I was going to aks the same thing.
Weeks ago when Arizona was the lock, some here said he was not "all that". A good steady player, but not a program changer.
Your observations??

I've never seen Victor play live but from what I've followed the last 3-4 years it sounds like he's taken his game to a new level this summer. I don't think he's a program changer by himself but in LSU's case if you add him to the current roster, together as a team they can change the program. He would be a huge get for the Tigers for a number of reasons. You never want to lose an instate guy of that magnitude. With Martin and Hopefully Victor it now becomes cool to go to LSU for the LA kids.

I'm really torn. I hope it's LSU, but I still think it'd be a surprise if he did. While things look pretty good for LSU now, I think Arizona has a slight edge. I just wish Victor could have had a visit during the season before he commited.

I think he can possibly develop into a solid contributor a few years down the road but he didn't impress me. This was a quarterfinal game this season which they lost in OT. Left the game feeling the same as when I saw Ricardo Gathers play in high school for the first time which was completely underwhelmed.

Heart says LSU but gut says Zona. Just hard to believe the kid is transferrring to basically a Zona feeder school, but he will choose LSU
