Commit concerns...?

Is it a legitimate concern that more of these off the radar unknowns are committing? Wonder what this does to the bigger time recruits. Only 18 spots left. Recruit position lists were all set and now they are changing as these lower ranked unknowns commit and everyone wondering if that will effect the other bigger targets at those positions.
What happens at the WR position with the Upchurch commit? Is it still the big 3? What happens with the other DE targets?

It all goes back to trusting the staff in their talent evaluation. I can promise they don't care what we think or what the sites think.

We will likely take four WR's (Upchurch, Quinn, Noil, and Dupree)

They are unknowns because the only people that you hear about you have to pay for or read from a website. LSU does not pay websites for recruiting data. If the staff knows you, you are not unknown.

I curious as to what others think in regards to the big time target recruits and the expected number of commits LSU we'll take at those positions. These commits do affect that.

You know, I'm curious about this too. Lots of HUGE recruits this year, and I dont want to lose any of them. Unfortunately, most wait until NSD to announce so it will be a huge risk if we go into February with only 18 or committed prospects. IJDK

maybe they like Upchurch and regard him as a top tier WR just as much or even more than the other WR prospects?

Exactly. The staff is WELL aware of whats out there. More so than you, me, or anyone on this site. Knowing whats out there, if they still wanted to jump on this kid this early and lock him up... Then this kid is one of the HUGE recruits.
Have you watched the kids highlight? Off the charts FB instincts/IQ.
The point is, maybe it does hurt us with someone else or maybe it doesn't. But this staff doesn't throw away schollies.
