HA make LSU look dumb? Doubt it. LSU will be perfectly fine without him I promise...I'll take the #1 pro style and #1 duel threat in the nation over a no name kid.

Cole had 398 yards 4 Tds vs STM last night as they came back to win 53-44.

Down 26 pts in the 3rd quarter and pulled out the W.

LINK /

STM was #1 team in the state.

Supatigah had him with 440 and said that was only due to great field position. If not for the FP, he would have went over 500.

STM is prob the best competition he will face all year. Great job by him and that Teurlings squad. Huge win in the Lafayette area.

Does only have 26 posts mean I don't know football? Or the fact that I have a life outside of an LSU message board? Anyways if he isn't a no name player than please educate me on how many offers he has? I go to lots of recruiting camps such as rivals and things an I can't recall ever seeing him or hearing his name. From what I have seen on him he does have a cannon but so does a lot of talented kids. But LSU isn't going to throw out QB offers when they have a freshmen and sophomore QB with possibly the #1 dual threat and #1 pro style QB in the nation coming to LSU

Yo OldDawg he leads the state in passing as a junior he's 6'7 230 and smart. He didn't go to any camps last year. If you want to talk about stars just remember Hayden retting, and Anthony Jennings were both top 10 rated Qbs. That worked out well.

How's that supposed to impress anyone? He leads the state....when you only play one good team on your schedule I'm sure you can put up great numbers. An as much as I dislike Jennings he is still starting at LSU and winning football games...but I can use your same logic an say look at Winston or AJ Mccarron top rated QBs who win NCs and heismans. Plenty of examples...it's a toss up with any player but I'm gonna go with a guy who is ranked and have seen play and dominate than a guy who is having one good season against an average schedule. Obviously I share LSUs logic cause they must not see anything in the kid if they haven't offered

I'm not saying he's SEC caliber or not, but I've actually seen him play. You're just not seeing a recruiting profile and spewing an opinion based off of nothing of substance. Just like you said they've played one good team all year.

Against university Lab and STM he's thrown for about 800 yards and 8 Td's. I think they're both #1 teams in the state. So I think you should do some research or just sit in the corner while the adults talk.

U-High, Notre Dame, Breaux Bridge, STM, New Iberia, Cecilia. Far from shitty competition. Get off rivals for a few seconds and step into reality,.

stm started shutting his receivers down heading to the tail end of the third quarter but then suffered injuries to two of their best corners and that's when METT 2.0 came alive.

here's my assessment of kelly through a fan's stm glasses......... the kid is absolutely legit with a huge arm, huge physical presence. he had great pocket presence, did well checking down and wasn't afraid to tuck it and run (doing so very efficiently). you give that kid receivers on the next level that know how to run good, crisp routes and he'll be a hell of a catch for whatever team lands him. i came across very, very impressed.

Stop trying to down this kid's accomplishments to try to prove a point. He will probably be an LSU recruit next year. Their schedule is NOT average. Look at some of the teams they have played. If you don't recognize some of the names as having consistently supplied talent to LSU and other SEC schools, then you need to follow along a little more closely before running your mouth. Nothing against Franks. There is no law that says you can only take one QB. But either way, just because LSU does not recruit him does not mean he is garbage. See Dak Prescott.

Couldn't disagree more. Granted, it is a highlight film but his arm is impressive. He is more impressive than Jennings HS video.

Do you know Louisiana football?? STM and university #1 teams?! Your crazy. STM I give you could be top 10 but in no way are either #1 in the state. I can name at least 5-8 teams that would beat STM and can name more that could beat university. Y'all are giving biased opinions cause you know the kid....I never tore the kid down I just said he probably wouldn't get looked at by LSU. They have franks and possibly Shea Patterson from Calvary who is easily the best QB in Louisiana for 2016....he leads the nation in pass completion percentage and that's against 2 5A state runner ups, WM, and against midland Christian the defending 3 time Texas state champs who hadn't lost a game in 3 years. The kid will be a good player in college but my post was saying he most likely won't get an offer with 2 highly rated QBs already offered and if you haven't noticed Cam is wanting a more mobile QB.
