He seems to be 100x my organized as head coach in recruiting compared to miles. Are you guys starting to be happy with the hire?

He seems to have backup plans to every situation. That's my favorite part about him.

I'll wait until after signing day to see if we actually get any of these guys in here. It will be boom or bust that day. I'm impressed that he's getting in on them, but we'll see if it pays off.

I'm happy with Coach O, but will wait until 2/2 to say he is the GOAT recruiter...

One thing Miles was good at was recruiting, especially when Frank Wilson was here.

Hey, the guy's bread and butter is recruiting. He loves the recruiting game and he's good at it. Miles was a damn good closer, but Orgeron is better from start to finish. Ask big Marv after NSD, and he'll tell you.

What remains to be seen, and what allegedly separates Les and Bebe, is the question of whether Orgeron will step out of the way and let his OC do his job, w/o handcuffs.

As for this year, I haven't seen anyone commit yet that Miles wouldn't have gained a commitment from as well. But those guys are still on the board. I do, however, credit Orgeron for salvaging what could have been a dumpster fire recruiting class. And he not only stopped the bleeding, but completely healed the wound and has his players confident and truly believing again.

He's certainly better than Miles, but so are like 100 other CFB coaches.

I mean I gave it a little bit. I really did. I thought it was just a few posts. But no. It's actually the case. You are the worst fricking poster on this entire site.

I agree that Miles was a very good recruiter. Coach O does have a different style which I am enjoying.

Miles problem was recruiting needs. We would have 5 WR's and 5 DB's but no OT's or a few Dlinemen. Coach O looks to be recruiting and filling needs with great players. Next year will be the real test.

You can't really use this year as a litmus test. Coaching changes always cause problems with recruits during the first year. The next two to three classes will tell us more about the situation.

I'm still not completely sold on Orgeron, but he did garner some points with me when he gave Etling the evil eye after he threw that idiotic pass interception right before halftime in the Citrus Bowl. Miles would have been doing his typical spastic clapping and patting him on the back.
