Taking 4 DTs seems like a bit much, but I dunno.

Have you seen our DL play (or lackthereof) lately? We need bodies on the DL SO BAD! We're starting to get the DEs, now we need the DTs in a big way. I agree that Chuck is the lowest of the 4 but I'd have no problem taking all 4.

I don't think he is an olineman regardless, but is the 6' legit or just someones eyeball judgement?

He's listed at 6'1. Usually those are fudged up. I think when we interviewed him he said he was 6'0 or 6'1.

I think we should take all four... Just because I don't want anyone else to have one of them. I like all their names too

Based on what? Offers?

Yeah, he's got none.

Not even the small in-state schools have called yet. And he plays at a place that gets plenty of exposure.

I think he's a D1 prospect, and a nice player. We'll see how he does on the camp circuit.

Sounds like Moo State will have 4 WM players in 2011.

As far as him not being good enough, LSU better rescind Jordan Allen's scholarship then. There wasn't a single game last year that Allen outperformed Hunter.

Once again different. Banks wasn't SEC calibre, Hunter is.

And there is no question that if we were taking a full class of 25, Hunter would get an offer. I think that's the $64k question - 4 DTs out of 20 is a huge commitment to one subgroup (and none of these 4 project as an OL, to my knowledge, and I don't see any of the big four playing outside - Freak Johnson, notwithstanding).

Turner and Cain. They were all invited to junior day and msu posters have said Mullen is pushing to get into WM. Shows will be gone soon. It doesnt matter though since Wilson will lock up NOLA right?

I really wish Hunter was a class ahead or behind of 2011. Regardless I hope we find room for all four.

The CIW was Stone, but he bolted after the loss in the Dome in 08.

Not taking it personally. Just don't want to see WM become the next Curtis/Evangel on this board when WM players going out of state.

A lot will have to happen for WM to send players LSU wants OSS imo. Beginning with Don Shows disowning the entire school.

I think Shows knows that LSU can't take every WM kid and I'm sure Shows is happy that his player gets a major D-1 scholly if LSU doesn't offer. That seems to be the way things have been in the past.

As for Hunter, I don't know how good he is, but it sounds like he may have to play really well this season to get an offer. That being said, if he's an excellent player, then I would say take 4 DT's to create depth and competition and keep other schools from getting him.

The only reason he isnt getting alot of love is because there isnt a lot of film on him. He is a great run stuffer and thats something we havent had since dorsey. He is very quick and can get to the QB, I think it would be a huge loss if we lose him to Bama or Miss St.

I don't see how we take 4 DTs. All WM players have lots of exposure so its "strange" for him not to have any D1 offers at this "early" point.
it was stated earlier that he has academic issues to overcome and that could be the difference between he and M. Johnson.
