Season ended up about as expected. The next 2 years should be strong for WM. Unfortunately,, WM has never been able to really defend the pass. Central through the ball at will, and WM just couldn't play the ball in the air. Also, the Central QB through several nice passes tonight. Their Defense played great tonight. Congrats to them.

Any update on WM stud LB Layton Garnett? He looked like he either dislocated his shoulder or broke his collarbone on a block in the back in the 2nd quarter.

What... Central moved the ball only OK. Central only scored 14 points but did take a knee at the end of the game.

The story of WM in the game was zero offense. Central defense shut down WM offense as if they were playing a middle school defense. Central went for forth down conversions 4 times I think and never picked up one. Twice this happened at midfield.

WM had zero offense last night. That was their problem. NOT Central moving the ball around like crazy. Central on a few occasions had opportunities with people running open to put up some more scores but over threw the receivers. Central was not clicking on all cylinders last night and should have put up more points had they just made a couple of almost plays.

The central starting running back who in my opinion is much better than the second string option didn't practice all week but did play. Not sure if he was as effective as he normally is.

Bottom line. WM offense did not show up.

Usual typos and grammar aside, this spelling definitely deserves a C'mon man.

WMs starting QB was lost in week #7. Second string QB was out for the game. WM was playing a LB at QB.

Plus Coach Don Shows is no longer on the sideline calling plays.

WM barely beat a 4-6 team in Denham Springs last week. I guess it would be a fair assessment to say WM had a down year.

Central did what they had to do to win. Good luck to them.

Obviously, I was typing fast on the iPhone and probably hit a few wrong letters that turned it to through. I'm as much of a grammar Nazi as anyone and didn't preview the post, I guess. I agree though - "C'mon Man !!!

All credit goes to Central.. They were the better team.

Central has a very good defense. At least they played the part of a really good defense last night
