I always hoped Shep would be Percy Harvin tbh. never thought he'd be a QB at LSU.

Your problem from the beginning was dreaming! Why not wake up and live in reality? I think that Scott could be as good as D.P. was at Miss.St!

I don't remember very many people thinking Shepard would actually be a QB. If you thought Shepard would be a major college QB, then I'm sorry.

I think he will be better than dak, he is very very smart, and talented. Elusive, great arm ,great running and i think that his "heart will/does show up in high school, and will continue in college

Do LSU fans realize he would be a Top 10 QB if he were 6'2", with his skill set?

Height didnt stop Kyler Murray from being so highly rated last year

That's true. Aren't they the same height?

Scott has some good film but Shepard's was godly. RS literally has one of the most impressive highlight tapes I've ever seen.. The guy was a one man offensive machine. While he might not have made for a fit in our pro style system, he made some damn good throws in high school and would have been an absolute stud in the spread. RS was the man.

One of the best high school tapes you'll ever see: LINK

LSU does not run anything near pro style offense

Many did indeed believe him to be the next quarterback and he was recruited as such and given reps. He however threw like a girl

This is the truth. He could have been a machine at a true spread college.

However, RS was never going to the NFL as a QB. I'm not sure if he was lucky enough to have the cards fall as they did with LSU or if he was smart enough to realize that when he committed to LSU that QB was not his future.

Either way I enjoyed watching his film. He was impressive.
