Lets get this thread going some..

I call major bullshite that he was a big LSU fan growing up and wanted to come to LSU. Hell Landon Collins hated LSU and spent 10x more time on our campus.

Normally I would say it's not THAT big of a deal but Sims is a taller receiver and you have to assume his role on the field will be as a deep threat.

On a straight go route it's a big deal, but other factors could help him, such as acceleration or physicality to shed a jam at the line.

He ran a fricking slant in Zone coverage and the linebacker closed on him and made the tackle. If he's .2 sec faster he's 2 foot further than he would have been and that is in the end zone. DIPSHIT!! Pull your head out of your arse and admit you're wrong for saying .2 sec on a forty doesn't matter for a skill position where speed is a crucial element for success. You get one mulligan! and I'll admit that you only continued to post dumb comments after that hoping you were dealing with someone uninformed who would give you the benefit of the doubt which was clearly not the case. Thank You Indiana for crunching the numbers. That was very informative.

Well cam Robinson runs a 4.9 and that's only 2 ft from a 4.7 so by your logic why not put him at receiver too?

that's why we are recruiting him so hard. I've heard his route running has really improved over the summer!

now you're just making shite up...

And I read that whole damn block of text and I can't figure out which side of the argument you're on...

And btw, 40 speed and whatever the frick 'functional football speed' is are two different things... I've probably not watched as much football as you sir, but I've never seen a WR or DB get down in a sprinters stance...

Difference between a 4.41, 4.59, and 4.69.

If you can't watch that and apply the speed difference, the separation once they hit stride to football, I don't know what to tell you.
