Completely agree. Also, what does. Everyone think of Akers? He an every 10 year talent or just another really good RB?

Closest thing to Fournette since Fournette.

Lsu should catapult up his list, while Ole Piss should plummet

If he signs with LSU, I think he'd a Jeremy Hill quality back. Could definitely give you multiple 1200-1400 yard 10 TD seasons in the right offense

Fournette just show cased what LSU can do with elite rbs.. how's that going for Ole miss?

If we seriously luck up and get Akers, it's going to be unfair for everybody to go from Jeremy Hill to Leonard Fournette to Derrius Guice to Cam Akers. ALL are NFL level backs.

Charles Scott, Jeremy Hill, Fournette, Guice, Spencer Ware, Ridley and Ford - hell even Blue, Keiland Williams and HESTERRRR

LSU has been showcasing RB'S for years.

What's the list of OM RB's that anyone can remember besides Dexter McCluster?

I like our chances with Akers. I heard last week Mike Scarborough say we are in the lead for him. He likes LSU a lot along with his mom.

Faulk, Addai, Hester, Scott, Ridley, Ware, Hill, Fournette, Guice...decent little run....

Until a coach is found can you honestly tell the kid he will be the next LF when you dont know what type of offense your going to be running? either with a new coach or new OC. either way i hope we have our coach in place by mid dec. to focus on recruiting

Akers did not go to T-town this weekend. He was too tired according to his mom. If that doesn't scream he isn't interested in them,I don't know what will.

And the fact that Bama has the number 1 runningback in the country committed to them probably helps.

He lives 30 miles from the Louisiana line, so he may as well be one of us.

LSU really is the ideal fit for him. He plays qb for his highschool, so it's going to take him some time to adjust to being a college running back and while he's adjusting he will be learning from guice. Plus, he won't have the pressure to be an immediate impact like he would at ole miss.

With Clinton dropping their first game of the season and Cam having a pretty rough night I could buy the too tired excuse. His first half season highlights on Hudl are ridiculous for this year.
