What's crazy is Florida State has 9% of the crystal balls while LSU & Tennessee have none

Bama guy who runs the entirety of 247. Usually very trustworthy.

I think its down to OSU or Ole Miss for this kid. Question is whether he wants to stay home or not and if the money at Ole Miss is enough. He absolutely should be considering LSU but he doesn't seem to be and Im not sure why.

He's not going to OSU, he's staying in the SEC.

How many highly sought after recruits have you guys landed from SEC country? And Florida or Texas do not count, that's fair game for everyone.

He's not going to pass up LSU, Alabama, Tenn and Ole miss to go to Columbus OH.

You make a good point and I generally agree with you but we've signed several kids from georgia recently (Raekwon Mcmillan 5 star LB, Von Bell 5 star safety) and this kid has visited Columbus on multiple occasions this year including the Nike camp and Friday night lights. Ill agree that we don't bring a lot of those kids but Akers himself has said OSU is one of his favorites.

No question he likes OSU, he wouldn't waste time visiting if he didn't like them. But when it comes down to decision time, the SEC schools are going to get a more serious look.

If Ole miss doesn't get in serious trouble, it's common knowledge he's headed there. The people in Mississippi are saying he's the greatest Hs football player they have ever seen, the boosters won't let him leave the state.

Easternrio said he is going to LSU so I feel pretty good he ends up somewhere other than LSU based on his previous sources

Yea that guy lost all credibility saying Haskins was LSU bound but there's a lot of LSU insiders on 247 saying we are in the thick of it and Tenn + ole miss were in the lead group as well. Not much mention of OSU from those guys

I feel good about OSU being in it til the end. Hope we get him but he won't break OSU if he doesn't end up north.

All the national 247 guys have put in CBs for OSU and haven't changed them. OSU Has every CB in the last 5 months aside from 2 for FSU. None of Ole Miss LSU or Tenn have any. Seems weird for OSU not to be at or near the top

Guarantee Ole Miss telling him that they will change the offense so that he will get 20-25 touches a game...but like you said Ole Miss is not a run first type of team...I dont even think they use fullbacks in their system.I'm not counting us out but I think the race is between Ohio state and Ole Miss at the moment

You are right about Oak Grove. Brett Farve was offensive cor. For a couple of years and a lot of talent moved in. About 5 years ago they had 16 first grade classes. That's alot of kids. Sumrall, which is next to that district is getting a lot of the overrun from Oak Grove now.

It's amazing how good the baseball is at OG, Sumrall and Purvis. All right next to each other.
