Cam Akers a no show for the picnic

From the article it looks like we are pretty much out of it. We need an elite downhill runner in every class.
Clyde Edwards will be a stud but it will be disappointing if we don't have a back up plan for akers. Just from looking Alabama has the number 1 and 12 running back in this class.

The last thing I'm worried about as an LSU fan is having enough good running backs on the roster.

Because he was a possibility and isn't too far from LSU. Now that he isn't as much of a possibility, oh well move on. Plenty of talent coming in in 2018 but when a possibility is that close to home you go after it.

We lose Fournette and Guice next two years, we still have Brossette, Ducre, and Helaire. Plus whoever we get in 2018. Don't worry so much.

Yep. Probably Ohio St. Oh well. Last time we faced a good Buckeye running back (with the exception of one long run from a bad angle by steltz) we did just fine. We'll do fine again this time around.

I still remember that run by Beenie Wells. He broke loose. OT but wells is exactly why I don't feel Derrick Henry will do good in pros. Same mold in my opinion. Just great college back behind massive o lines.

Running backs down the roads folks!!! He will be a beast. This is why it is very important that we have a good LB haul this class so white can play RB if needed. Am I just crazy for thinking this is a possibility although not preferred?

I don't think two RB's in this class is an absolute necessity. LSU doesn't take running backs just for depth, they want guys who are NFL caliber.
Fabian Franklin in 2018 is a good bet to end up a Tiger.

We're gonna as sign another RB in this class besides CEH. Hopefully it's Akers, but we'll find someone legit. We always do.
