Ruston (La.) native Isaiah Buggs, who is spending the fall semester at Gulf Coast Community College, will not announce his decision on Aug. 24 - his birthday. Instead, he's pushing the decision back until some point during the football season.

"I have a few more places I want to see," Buggs told 247Sports.com, adding that a decision could come "mid-season."

Buggs has made summer trips to both LSU and Auburn, and he's now set to visit Auburn on Sep. 3 for the team's season opener against Clemson. Buggs has not circled a date yet for his official visit to LSU, and he's unsure if the trip to Auburn on opening weekend will be an official or unofficial visit.

It's getting annoying how indecisive he is.

I feel like the more he pushes the decision back, the better news it is for LSU. Auburn has been putting on the full court press to get him and the more times he tells them he isn't sure, the more his heart will bring him home

Let me put my shocked face on... Can't find it. Isn't this the 3rd time his decision has been pushed back?

I don't think he intended on that being his decision date. The news kind of got away from him. That is his birthday, though.

My source tells me his new date will be between the years 2016 and 2017.

I agree. If I were a highly sought after recruit I'd definitely make an early decision to appease the unwarranted needs of anonymous message board posters as opposed to taking my time, going on visits across the country, and doing what's best for myself.

He's a JUCO. While delaying and taking all of these visits is understandable for the typical recruit, I thinks it's kind of odd for a JUCO. Anyway, I'm sure he has his reasons. I wouldn't be upset though if we could just land Chaisson and/or Bryant and be done with DE.

Makes absolutely no sense to choose Auburn. They are in turmoil right now. But it's his decision

Get his arse on campus during either the OM game or the Bama game. If atmosphere means anything to him, he'll get the very best during those games. And I hope he sets his official to Auburn against us.

His recruiting process wasn't even remotely like this the first time around. He was a lowly ranked 3 star with offers from Auburn, Arkansas, and OK State - none of which would have actually accepted his commitment given that he was 100% going the JUCO route. Now he's the top ranked weak side D end in the country and can go to any school he wants.

I know he is an great talent, but do we think there is a chance the coaches are asking him to take a wait and see approach? Depending on numbers?
