The Highland Baptist RB continues to put up impressive numbers. Through 7 games he has rushed for 1,867 yards and 31 TDs. Continues to lead the state in rushing. He has good speed and will run you over if you get in his way.

Highland Baptist - District 7-1A
Season 4-2-0 District 1-2-0
Sep 04 50 - 07 1A: Houma Christian (3-4-0)
Sep 10 55 - 00 2A: Jeanerette (0-6-0)
Sep 18 43 - 06 2A: West St Mary (1-6-0)
Sep 24 13 - 44 1A: Vermilion Catholic (5-2-0)
Oct 02 35 - 14 1A: Lafayette Christian (3-4-0)
Oct 09 25 - 64 1A: Central Catholic (6-1-0)
Oct 16 - 1A: Gueydan (2-4-0)
Oct 23 - 1A: Ascension Episcopal (7-0-0)
Oct 30 - 1A: Hanson Memorial (2-5-0)
Nov 06 - 1A: Centerville (3-4-0)

With that schedule, he'll need to go to every camp possible and go off to get on anyone's radar. Not the kid's fault, he can only play who is on his schedule.

He will go to camps and is on the radar. Ran for over 1,700 yards as a freshman. Front runner to break the single season state rushing record as well as the all time career rushing record.

He is silly playing for Highland. Really really silly. Should be at Catholic-NI. Good runner but plays bad bad teams.

I'm pretty sure he is Baptist and not Catholic. If he went to New Iberia Senior High he would start and would play against real competition on the 5A level.

Griffin broke his own school record with the 400-plus yard effort and broke the Iberia Parish single-season rushing mark of 2,204 yards set by Jeanerette's Anthony “Amp” Williams in 2010.

Highland's sophomore tailback has 2,492 yards and 38 touchdowns in nine games this season.

So he's averaging 250 and 4 TDs... it's too bad stats are just numbers.
