He is currently rated a low 4* and after looking at his highlights, that is about right IMO

I don’t get it sunny. I like a hot take as much as the next guy, but this isn’t even bold. Just ignorant

I have not mentioned Billiot. What the hell are you talking about. I would have to look up that WRer. I haven't even looked at his highlights. Stay on topic!

No, you are missing the point. The only time that really matters on the football field is the 40 time. That is why that is the one always mentioned. You are missing the point. And if you think that speed and quickness are the same thing, that is your problem right there.

All you can do is to call names because obviously you know squat about talent evaluation or football in general. Keep calling names in every post...that tells me exactly what you know...which is squat!

Do you think guys who run 10.48 have bad 40 times?

If so please cite some examples for me. Thanks

White LBs have not really been a thing in the SEC football the last 25yrs.

Sooooo the Alabama WHITE transfer LBer that went to Arkansas named Luke Sanders and became an all SEC and one of the best LBers in the nation was a figment of everyone's imagination. I understand now. You don't keep up with SEC football.

Guess you have been too busy with Mahones and Kelsie commercials, but my name has nothing to do with not judging players myself by stars. I simply don't agree all the time with the recruiting services rating system. Say hello to Taylor Swift for me and tell her you wasted your time with your post trying to make me look like a hypocrite. You failed!

First, according to the article I quoted, his best time before March 7th was 10.63. Was 10.48 wind aided for example? Second, I'm trying to find his 40 time and haven't been able to track it down. But the 40 time matters and once again will tell me how quick the guy is. I don't give a rat's arse what his 100m time is. For a LBer that is not nearly as important as his 40 time.

You brought up offer lists

Billiot had probably the worst offer list of any of our signees and was ranked lower than this kid when he committed

By January he was an adidas all American and the highest rated wr in our class

Speaking of wasting time, you spending all day melting on a thread about a high school kid committing is about as pathetic as it gets on this site and that’s saying something

I haven't looked into him although I did see him play well in the allstar game. But I have already addressed comparing one player to another...Damone Clark was the one brought up by someone else. I don't translate one person's recruitment to another's...it is a waste of time. I have watched Ross' highlights as I've said multiple times, he does not look exceptional in any manner. He shows no explosiveness and I don't even see speed in his play which is why I want his 40 time. Running 100m in a straight line doesn't matter to me for a LBer. I want to judge his quickness and saw no great quickness in his highlights. And as I mentioned to another poster who brought up a lowly rated player that played well for LSU, for every underrated player anyone can bring up, I can bring up 20 where the recruiting services appraisal and his offers matched his play.

Yet you are wasting your time. And BTW, I have been doing other things than just posting here during the day. It is called multi-tasking. If you can't do that, that's saying something. The fact that you say "melting" on this thread tells me you don't mind exaggerating to begin with.

These are some of the first few plays on his highlight reel. These plays are phenomenal. Most box players in highschool are rarely asked to turn their back to the QB, and when they are forced to, they don't make plays like this.

PLAY 1

The first pic is where he starts in the formation. You don't line up here if you cannot run, for 1.

The second pic is where he ends up; intercepting the ball on the goaline. Again, you are not getting to this spot if you cannot run.

Play two.

Again, you don't line up in the spot if you cant run. He runs stride for stride with the WR(may be a RB, cant tell).

He is 30 yards downfield covering a skill player.

This kid stacked with the 3 from last year will solve linebacking problems for years to come.

No, I gave an opinion on the commitment and a couple of posters didn't like it. I posted completely on the topic. We just have some people here who throw tantrums if their opinions of a player aren't validated.
