I saw him play three times and he has great size and athletic ability but he dropped a good bit of passes. I think he is a two year project in the SEC but could make an immediate impact at a mid major. I don't thing he's a take this year not enough spots and comparing him to Armand is big disrespect to Armand. Armand is a freak of an athlete and Briggs is a big receiver with adequate speed and agility.

Vince Wilson was there #1 reciever last year we will see how Briggs does were ever he goes

I was thinking of Lesean Williams. He was 6'3" 190 but I don't think he signed with anybody. Not even SELU.

Probably because he was mostly a non-factor as a Jr. He was the third reciever and only had about 300 yards in 15 games. He had better numbers this year but SEC caliber recievers should be dominant on the High school level. He's not.

can we go back and look at TT's high school stats his junior/senior year?

and let's remember, TT was a 5-star

Sure lets do that:

Hauled in 42 passes for 861 yards and six touchdowns as a senior ... Caught 50 passes for 780 yards and 10 touchdowns as a junior ... Averaged 22.4 yards per a catch ... Also recorded 51 tackles at free safety in 2005 ... Member of the Houston Chronicle Top 100 and the Austin American-Statesman 55 ... Was also the Texas state long jump champion and a double-figure scorer on the basketball team ... Coached by Ricky Sargent.

92 rec. 1641 yds. 16 TDs in 21 games

Briggs:

66 rec. 1030 yds. 15 TDs in 30 games.

and TT was a heralded 5-star, ranked as one of, if not THE top WR in the country, while Briggs is a lowly 3-star

seems about right
