the fact that helen cox had no chance kind of make it hard to evaluate but from what i saw he looks real good. Can dribble and finish with either hand and his shot is nicer than I thought. Also has nice vision for a big man. Hard to determine his D since he had to guard a lot of small quick guards but didn't really get beat that often

I was at the game also. He is good, real good. I think his overall basketball skills are just as good as Lebron's when he came out. With that said, Lebron was a superior athlete. I am not one that bleeds purple and gold, but this kid is the real deal as far as skills go.

Well he's #1 player in the country so I don't think you have to be worried about being a homer

Apparently Benny can shoot jumpers with either hand. Just read an article that says Ben is naturally right handed, but was taught to use his left hand as his dominat hand on the court. Larry Bird and Pete Maravich are the only players I can recall that could shoot proficiently with either hand. My God this kid is gonna be fun to watch.

I went as well. I was impressed by his shooting stroke. Hit a buzzer beater 3 to end the fist and I believe he went 3-3 from 3pt land in the game. He missed some free throws but he was draining them all warm ups, don't think it will be an issue.

As a previous poster said, he has great vision, made some great short and long passes.

He seems to have a pretty good handle with the ball, didn't try taking too many guys off the dribble, but that's a little difficult for a 6'9 guy when 6'2 guards are sticking you.

Will be a top 5 pick and possible overall number 1 pick if he can develop a strong post game as a SF.

I was there as well. His team is unreal. Two 7 footers including a 7'4" kid who looked like he was dunking off his tip toes. Simmons was smooth man. Real Smooth. He played within the team or else he could have put up 50 easy. Seemed to be coasting through the game toying with the poor Helen Cox kids. I can't wait to see him against real competition.
