So Kendall is Derry Beckwith's brother?
D. Beckwith graduated from Parkview, and was recruited by the Crimson Dwarf...however, I am not sure that DB was "all peachy keen" with Dwarf.
I could be wrong, but I remember "something.." does anyone remember about this situation?
Be as it may, Dwarf has cleverly crafted an "image," and he understands perception. Any program leader needs to understand the "intangibles," and we cannot ignore the "psychology of today's players," it is a formidable factor.
Frank Wilson may understand his "enemy," but I am not sure we have "that understanding," across the board....swag is more than dumbassery...

I worry that KB may become another Liggins. I do not know anything about his personal academic background but the school he attends is an academic Sahara. ONly need a 1.5 gpa to play sports. Hopefully for his sake his parents are keeping him up on his academic qualifications. Good to see MJ is from a magnet program...

Yeah, the key to Beckwith isn't where he stands relative to Melvin Jones. It's more so about how he stacks up against the 6 guys we are bringing in this year.

I was always kinda under the impression that KB was this year's DD, who I thought handled going oos very well. He's visited a few more times than DD, but overall I haven't heard anything positive or negative out of him regarding LSU. If he feels like Bama is a better fit for him, then best of luck. He and his father, if this is true, haven't exactly been bitching and moaning like Noel Ellis and Co.
